I really loved to paint flowers much bigger than life size during this time period, and I have been itching to do that again these days. I also was fascinated with white and how many different shades are actually in a white object, so I wanted the white roses as the main subject and then complimented those with the rest. Slide three shows a process pic…compared to today I was laying down much thicker paint sooner to define the shapes. 
This bouquet was one of those I arranged in the winter with grocery store flowers to  keep the winter blues away.
