An early summer bouquet featuring a few zinnias, tickseed & feverfew, and calla and day lilies from my parents’ yard. The background base is phthalo blue-green, a very strong pigment that really gives the piece energy against the yellow and orange flowers. The whole vibe just had me thinking about a fresh citrusy drink, hence the name. A tropical vacation in my head during the summer of 2020.
